London has become an important r&d base in Facebook, in addition to the United States. At present, the Oculus has six cities in the United States, as well as Hong Kong and Seoul have set up offices.

Facebook, Google and SONY are still actively promote virtual reality into the mainstream. There are rumours that, apple also focused on the technology.

Zuckerberg said that in the world of virtual reality, the other end of the world look like in the same room. But he thinks, virtual reality is still need a long time to become the mainstream. Virtual reality will be applied first to the gaming industry, but supporters say, virtual reality will change education, entertainment and the many other industries such as retail.

Last month the Oculus released the first product in Rift, and competing goods from HTC and SONY will be posted in this year. Deloitte is expected, although these virtual reality devices need strong performance, the price expensive computer support, but virtual reality equipment sales will reach 1 million units in 2016.

A Oculus spokesman confirmed that the company has a small team in London, and said: "on the international plan, we will share more news soon."
